Change That SticksHow to Make Time for What Matters
— Kim Fulcher —

Time is not hiding from you. You are not going to find it in a corner somewhere. You have to make it, deliberately, by getting clear about what belongs in your life and what does not.
Most women are deeply exhausted at the end of most days and still feel like they did not do what actually mattered. This is not a time problem. It is a priority problem.
1. Define Your Priorities
You cannot protect time for what matters if you have not decided what matters. Most women are running on an implicit list of what they think they should prioritize rather than a deliberate list of what they actually choose to prioritize.
Sit down and define it explicitly. In your personal life, what are the five to seven things that genuinely need your attention for your life to function and feel meaningful? In your work, what actually moves the needle?
Everything that is not on that list is a candidate for elimination or delegation.
You do not have time. You make it.
2. Audit Your Calendar
Open your calendar and count how many of your current commitments actually reflect your priorities. Then count how many do not.
The gap between those two numbers is where your time is going. And the reason most women cannot make time for what matters is that their time is already committed to things that do not.
You are allowed to exit commitments that do not serve your priorities. Not dramatically. But quietly, systematically, making space.
3. Protect What Matters by Scheduling It First
What gets scheduled gets done. What gets left to happen when you have a spare moment almost never happens.
Schedule the things that matter to you the way you schedule appointments with other people. In the calendar. With a time slot. Non-negotiable except for genuine emergencies.
This is how the things that matter to you actually make it into your life. Everything else fills the remaining space.
Priority is not a productivity problem. It is a self-knowledge problem.
