Identity and Next ChapterCrown Straightened and Priorities Set: Moving Forward For Your Best Self
— Kim Fulcher —

There is a moment when you stop waiting for someone to hand you permission and you realize you were always the one who had it.
Most women spend years in a quiet holding pattern. Waiting for the kids to be older. For the finances to settle. For the relationship to improve. For some external condition to shift before they allow themselves to move toward what they actually want.
The shift that matters is internal. And it starts with a decision.
1. Get Clear on What Actually Matters
Before you can move forward, you need to know what forward looks like for you. Not the version of forward your family expects. Not the version your culture told you to want. Your version.
Most women have never taken the time to answer this question for themselves. They have spent so long adapting to what was needed around them that their own preferences have gone quiet.
So ask. What do you want? Not what do you think you should want, or what would make everyone else comfortable. What do you actually want your life to look like?
You are not a DAMSEL. You are a HERO and you can RESCUE yourself.
2. Straighten the Crown
Somewhere along the way, most women absorb the message that wanting things for themselves is selfish. That prioritizing their own life, their own dreams, their own wellbeing somehow takes from the people around them.
It does not. When you are running at full capacity, living in alignment with what matters to you, you have more to give, not less. The most generous version of you is the one who is not depleted.
Straightening your crown means claiming your right to have a life that works for you. Not at the expense of anyone else. Just as part of the equation, the way it should have been all along.
3. Set Your Priorities and Move
Once you know what matters and you have given yourself permission to go for it, the work is straightforward: set your priorities and align your actions with them.
This means saying no to the things that are not on your list. It means protecting your time and your energy for what actually matters. It means showing up for yourself the way you have always shown up for everyone else.
And it means starting. Not when you feel ready. Not when conditions are perfect. Now. With what you have. From where you are.
Power is not something you HAVE. It is something you DO.
